There are many benefits to building green/living roofs. Better insulation, reduced runoff and urban heat islands, additional LEED points.
On this project, we designed and built over 1200 linear feet of a cost-effective planting wall system that utilized aluminum in its natural raw finish. The design needed to accommodate varying slopes of the roof surface, while keeping the top of the walls level. This challenge was addressed by designing adjustable legs that attached to the walls.
